Job Title: Account Executive (Warehouse Sales)

Job Summary

This role will work with new and current customers to develop Warehouse solutions in LTL, Truckload, and international supply chains.

You Want to Do This

A) Business Development

• Develop and implement outbound sales and business development strategy, sales processes, structure, and best practices for selling WH space for FMi Group of companies.
• Help create and prioritize strategic target account lists within a defined territory/industry.
• Generate new leads, identify, and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, and populate on a sales tracker.
• Build new accounts (adding new leads/contacts, sending emails, strategic cold calling).
• Conduct cold-calling and warm-calling campaigns.
• Maintain pipeline call tracker for weekly reporting in Sales pipeline meetings.
• Conduct high level conversations with Senior Executives on prospected accounts.
• Mine, validate, and close leads coming into FMi from website enquiries.
• Set up new client onboarding meeting with assigned operations team to “hand off” client.
• Achieve monthly quotas of qualified opportunities and close ratios.
• Manage proposal response process, including detailed RFP requirements and content creation with inputs from various internal and external sources.

B) Account Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Engage with stakeholders inside WH and within the organization to promote effective sales approach/collaboration.
• Conduct regular account reviews to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services.
• Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth service delivery.

C) You already have the Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Specific Logistics, or supply chain or Freight knowledge – Supply chain education & knowledge is considered of great value.
• Solid sales performer with at least 2-3 years of successful sales track record.  
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle for client visits.

D) Qualifications/Skills:

• Good with clients and vendors/partners alike. 
• Good at generating new leads through calling and email campaigns.
• Relevant experience in Logistics, Supply Chain and Transportation Management  
• Experience in Social Media Marketing skills and PowerPoint presentations.  
• Strong client focused service skills and you’re driven to help develop new business while working on relationships.
• Experience in building and nurturing a Sales Pipeline. 
• Innovative thinker and able to come up with new and useful ideas.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent verbal and written communications.
